needs assessment and search launch

At the start of each engagement, we conduct stakeholder interviews to collect a diversity of perspectives about the open position. We get to know your organization's culture, values, and strategic priorities. We leverage these insights to create the perfect Position Description, Assessment Criteria, and Marketing Plan, along with a clear road map of the search timeline, roles, and key milestones.


candidate identification and cultivation

Through research and market intelligence, we connect with hundreds of prospective candidates. We provide tools to engage your organization's networks, including mapping your personal connections to leverage in recruitment. To ensure that your position reaches a diversity of audiences, we market the job to targeted alumni, affinity, and professional networking groups. 


interviews and references

We conduct thorough, competency-based interviews in order to assess candidates' professional track record and skills, as well as personal motivation and passion for your organization's mission. As candidates are presented, we support your search committee or hiring team every step of the way, including providing interview prep and debriefs. To inform you final selection, we will speak with up to three professional references. 



Once you're ready to make an offer, we're with you through the home stretch. We are available to coach on salary negotiation, including providing market data to ensure you craft the most compelling offer. As candidate stewardship is of the utmost importance at this final stage, we partner with you to ensure your selected candidate is excited about the offer and says yes!


Search engagements are contracted for five months. If your hired candidate does not work out within four months of the hire date, we will re-open the search for a period of two months free of charge.


Salary shouldn't dictate what you pay your search firm. While most firms charge a fee of at least 30% of a first-year salary, we charge flat fees. Our fees are typically half of our competitors.
